Elden Ring is a new fantasy action RPG. It was developed by KOEI in collaboration with the artistic team at Camelot Software Planning and the strategy team at Square Enix.

Elden Ring is an action RPG that tells the story of a world where Gods, Dragons and Humans dwell together, and puts you in the shoes of a young boy who is raised among the fantasy races. You will customize your character’s appearance, weapons and armor, and create your own path through a vast world.

The gameplay is based on the fantasy world of Ethernorn, the ancient land created by the creators of the Elder Scrolls series. As you gain experience and obtain new equipment, you will travel through Ethernorn’s vast open world, progressing toward your goal, where you will encounter exciting challenges and various gods.

    I’ve already been playing a lot of text game and although I’m not a fan of them, this game pulls me in from the start as I’m reading the first line of the cover and I was immediately captivated by the idea and the music. I opened the folder to see how it is made and I found it to be made by taking an RPG and turning it upside-down. The main character is put in the center and then the enemies appear from the edges. The complexity of the enemies is clear from the very start and this limits the advantage of the skill tree you get when you beat them. There is no screen-load and you can use the game in the middle of the menu screen with no problem. The game looks pretty nice for such a small game and the graphics are the usual LNF fare. The hit detection is pretty good and the skill tree isn’t complex. There are a few issues with the interface but nothing that can’t be fixed with a little tinkering. The graphics are crisp and they should definitely be good-looking enough with their retro-style. The sound is good and it can be changed by hitting the right buttons. However, there are some issues with the recording of the voice of the characters in the game. The voice needs to be re-recorded. I’d say this is a simple fix to the problem. You can’t save in the game and the only thing the game lets you save is “The Beast” at the main menu. I haven’t tried to save any of my player stats outside of the game, I’m not sure if that function exists, but it’s pretty disappointing. The controls work in all directions and it feels good.

    The last few years have left me nostalgic for my childhood. I loved being the youngest in the family. My mother wasn’t as strict as my older brothers.
