The character designs for the characters in the game are okay and the game is funny, at least in the Japanese version. I did not see any of the American version or the manga included with the game, but I don’t think they would have changed the gameplay much. The game’s music is pretty good, but also very simple. If you enjoyed Final Fantasy games and you have an Xbox 360, you should really check out “Legend of Mana”. It’s not a good Final Fantasy game, but you probably are not going to get as much enjoyment from it as you would from a Final Fantasy game released in the past, such as Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 10, or Final Fantasy XII. But it’s a decent game for about $15 in the Xbox Marketplace. DRAGON QUEST 8 – 3.75/5 The game is a satisfying iteration of the well-established JRPG formula, drawing inspiration from Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and other series. The story moves at a steady clip and keeps the player engaged. The characters are likable, the combat is a delight to behold, and the many subplots and secondary goals keep things interesting.
