My desktop PC is set up to act as a server. It’s connected to the internet and in the UK has a static IP address. I can access files on it remotely through a web browser, via a remote desktop client, etc.
I would like to create a web page which I could then simply print it out.
My problem is that I often find myself needing to print something from my phone, or from my iPad. These devices have no web interface – it’s just a matter of having the page on them and printing it.
A solution I have is to save the web page as a PDF and then open it on my desktop. This is a bit of a hassle and would like to be able to just print the webpage directly.
I have found an extension for Chrome called ‚Print to PDF‘ which seems to be the closest thing. It might be able to do the job but I can’t be sure and would like to get a feeling for if there are other options available.
