1. Get a copy of Photoshop Elements for Windows
The first step to working with Photoshop Elements is to download the software. You can get the download links below:

2. Connect to the web or create an Adobe ID
Before you download the software, you need to first create a free Adobe ID and connect to the web.
If you don’t have an Adobe ID and don’t want to create one, you can use a Google Account to create a free Adobe ID.
3. Install Photoshop Elements
Installing Photoshop Elements is easy. All you need to do is download the software, open it and follow the steps displayed on screen.
4. Set up the software
For you to start working with Photoshop Elements, you first need to create a workspace. You can create a new workspace by clicking the New icon on the top toolbar.
In the new workspace, it will give you the option to select an existing workspace (a previous workspace) or create a new one.
Click on the New option (shown below) to create a new workspace.
Choose “Create workspace from scratch” (shown below) to start fresh.
Click OK to start creating a new workspace.
5. Add your Adobe ID to Photoshop Elements
You need to activate Photoshop Elements. You can do this by signing into your Adobe ID. If you have an Adobe ID, you will be asked to enter your Adobe ID and password.
If you don’t have an Adobe ID, simply click I’d like to create an Adobe ID (shown below).
Enter your full name, email address, password and then click sign up.
When the registration is done, you will be asked to confirm it.
Once you confirm, you will be redirected to your Adobe ID.

PHP Regex for only valid date format
I need a valid regex for php.
Accepted:
yyyy/mm/dd
yyyy/mm
yyyy-mm
dd/mm/yyyy
Not accepted:
mm/dd/yyyy
yyyy-mm-dd
yyyy/dd/mm
The regex is very simple:
‚/^(?:(?!\d)[0-9]{2})/‘
It works fine. The problem is the date part that contains a space. (This also allows the first item as accepted, which it shouldn’t.
I understand why this is, it’s because the ‚(?!\d)[0-9]{2}‘ part of the regex looks for exactly two digits and a space following it.
Is there a simple workaround for this (or ideally, a regex that checks for the first three items)?

What’s New in the Photoshop CS3?
The present invention relates to optoelectronic imaging systems such as video cameras or laser scanners, in particular those whose charge coupled device (CCD) or charge integrating device (CID) is used as an image detector.
The CCD or CID is a semiconductor sensor which is modified by depositing transparent conductive electrodes or a photoconductive material on the front side of a semiconductor substrate. The front side or lower side, with its electrodes and/or photoconductive material, is often covered with an opaque layer, called a color filter, which is composed of colored stripes of red, blue and green and is deposited on the front side of the semiconductor substrate.
A beam of radiation, with a wavelength greater than or equal to the band gap width of the semiconductor substrate and the layer forming the color filter, generates charge carriers in the semiconductor substrate at the radiation wavelength or in the color filter at the wavelength of the radiation. The holes which are produced in the semiconductor substrate by absorption of a photon are diffused by the electric field applied to the front side of the substrate to the electrodes on the front side. The electrons produced in the color filter due to absorption of a photon are diffused by the electric field applied to the rear side of the substrate. After a fixed period of time, the diffusion of the carriers is terminated. The read-out process then determines a pulse which corresponds to a color of the color filter.
The CCD or CID of a video camera as a pixel sensor, in particular a CCD color camera, detects light only in a wavelength range in which the colored filter layer absorbs. For a gray object, only the red color will be passed through the color filter, the green and blue colors will be absorbed. If the gray object has a different density, the absorption may be decreased by increasing the radiation wavelength.
It is an object of the present invention to construct a CCD or CID system as a pixel sensor with an improved sensitivity over a broad wavelength range.
It is a further object of the invention to implement a CCD or CID system with such a broad wavelength range by selecting the color filter from a broader range of colors and by selecting a broader wavelength range of the radiation source.Thursday, June 5, 2009
