How to Use Photoshop and Photoshop Elements
Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to create a graphic design is similar to using most websites and software. The user must learn how to navigate the functions, select the features, and use them with other functions. For example, you can add a filter to a color image, or create a chalkboard background.
Like websites, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements allow the user to navigate from one window to another, and control many features from one window.
To edit your photos, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements must be open when you are editing. You can use the app only when it is open.
If you accidentally close an open app or window, you can open it again. To open an app or window that has been minimized, just click the app or window on the taskbar or desktop.
Let’s start with using Photoshop.
Step 1: Adding, Editing and Removing a Photo
Open an image you wish to edit. If you only need to add a filter or adjustment, then you can do this in another photo while the one you need to edit is open.
To add a filter or adjustment, click where you wish to add the filter, and choose Filter from the menu, Adjustments from the menu or Adjustments panel.
Changing an adjustment can also be done while the picture is open. On the right of the image, hold down the Alt key and click the image and drag and drop the adjustment on the image.
The image or photo will be affected. If you do not want to affect the photo, you can make an adjustment, then click the image, press the Ctrl key and move the adjustment to another location.
You can resize images to smaller or larger sizes. When you are using Photoshop Elements, you can click where you wish to resize, and then, drag the corner or edge of the photo to resize the image.
You can use the 3D effects to bend, tilt and flip the image. You can use the control bar to select the area where you want to use the 3D effect. You can also create custom 3D effects using the Create a Custom 3D Effect option in the control bar.
Step 2: Using Actions in Photoshop
Actions are stored in the computer and are set for certain procedures. You can use these actions as presets for your photos.
Select an action in the Action palette, click the preset action in the list and click

Brushes come in many shapes and sizes and are created with different tools in Photoshop. Some brushes allow you to paint directly on an image and are commonly used for painting and sketching. Others allow you to select areas of a target image, and edit those areas. These tools are used for retouching pictures that require a little editing such as fading a picture, adding a shadow, or removing blemishes.
To create your own brush, follow these steps.
You can usually create your own brushes in Photoshop CS. The easiest way to do this is to use one of the available pre-designed brushes or combine two existing brushes to create a third. You can then save the brush as a file or layer in Photoshop. Or, you can use the Brush Gallery, a library of Photoshop brushes, to search through the library to find a brush that will work for you. The Brush Gallery includes many great brushes that you can download for free.
Select the Tools menu and select Photoshop Effects and then click the Add New Effect button. The Create New Effect dialog box opens.
Select the type of brush you want to use:
You will see a set of options for brushes that come with the program. You can choose an existing brush, or create your own brush.
To create your own brush, click New Brush.
Click the Brush Preset drop-down menu, and choose a brush.
Click OK to create your new brush. To set the width, height, and spacing of the strokes, click the Size Options tab. You can also set the size of a brush stroke, the brush type, and the length and frequency of the brush strokes.
Click the first drop-down menu at the bottom of the box and choose the brush type. The default option is a normal brush.
Click the Size Options tab, and use the Edit Brush dialog box that opens to set the size, length, and frequency of the brush strokes.
Click OK to apply your brush.
Add a preset brush or create your own in the top tab (refer to the image at the beginning of this guide).
Select New from the tool menu.
Select Brush Preset from the Create New Effect dialog box.
Click the Brush Preset drop-down menu and choose a preset brush. This will open the Brush gallery in the lower half of the dialog box. The Brush gallery has some pre-made brushes in
What’s New In Photoshop 2022 (Version 23.2)?
Q:
React.js : default export const
I don’t understand how does it work. If I do :
export default React.createClass({
…
});
the compiler will tell me :
An export from./__generated__/react-components/ItemRow.js should be added to
../src/index.js:3
But if I do :
export const ItemRow = React.createClass({
…
});
the compiler won’t complain.
Why?
A:
The first export creates a default export, the second just creates a named export.
When you create an import statement, it will use what it finds in the default export, if there is one, or the named export otherwise. You may have multiple default exports if you have more than one export:
//file1.js
export const Foo = „Foo“;
export const Bar = „Bar“;
export default Foo;
export default Bar;
//file2.js
import Foo from „./file1.js“;
import Bar from „./file1.js“;
//should work too
import { Foo, Bar } from „./file1.js“;
When you do import ItemRow from „./src/index.js“ it will use the export { ItemRow } from „./src/index.js“ which is a default export. However, if there was no default export, it would complain that there is no export in./src/index.js.
Q:
SQL Server – Drop Index multiple tables
If I have indexes on several tables in a database, for example
ALTER TABLE dbo.Table1 DROP INDEX IX_Table1_DateCol_ID
Is there a way to DROP the index as such, without going back to one-table at a time?
ALTER TABLE dbo.Table1, dbo.Table2 DROP INDEX IX_Table1_DateCol_ID
A:
I actually just ran into this issue. I found a workaround, which was to use the syntax:
ALTER TABLE dbo.Table1 DROP INDEX [t1].IX_Table1_DateCol_ID
If your index name has spaces in it, then I’d recommend this syntax, too.
