Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

AutoCAD vs SketchUp

The most obvious competitor to AutoCAD is the free cross-platform desktop computer-aided design (CAD) application SketchUp, developed by Trimble. Whereas AutoCAD is a desktop CAD program designed specifically for the desktop computer, SketchUp is an open-source cross-platform 3D application that can be used on any platform that supports OpenGL 3.3.

In AutoCAD, you can insert, edit, create, and organize drawings on a single screen. You can add tools, change tool settings, insert blocks, text, and arrows. You can also use AutoCAD to create and edit hyperlinks, such as to files and websites. You can place dimensions, create relationships, and view drawings with layers. You can also create multilevel and spline representations of geometric elements.

In SketchUp, you can create, edit, and organize designs on a single screen. In addition to using the standard 2D tools and inserting or extruding geometric elements, you can also use SketchUp to create and edit text, hyperlinks, and other elements. SketchUp also lets you view your designs in three dimensions.

CAD vs Dimensional Drawings

You can use AutoCAD to create, edit, and convert many types of 2D drawings. For example, AutoCAD lets you create and edit paper plans, floor plans, and architectural drawings. AutoCAD can also convert these drawings to other file formats, such as AutoCAD dwg, AutoCAD dxf, and PDF.

In addition to creating and editing 2D drawings, AutoCAD lets you create and edit a few types of 3D drawings. For example, you can create and edit 3D models in AutoCAD. You can also create and edit 3D terrain, a 2D map overlay, and a 3D scene in AutoCAD. You can export 3D models to other formats, such as DGN.

SketchUp is a desktop cross-platform, cross-language application that lets you create and edit 2D and 3D drawings. You can create and edit drawings for 2D geometry and for 3D geometry, including 3D models. You can then convert these drawings to other file formats, such as DWG, DXF, DWF, DWG, and DXF. You can also export 3D models to other formats, such as DGN, DAE, OB

The best way to setup/maintain reverse proxy in nginx

I’m using nginx as reverse proxy to serve two different apps (web server and API server) which are packaged in docker containers on different hosts. Currently I have two http servers (server1 and server2) in my docker swarm. The web server is served on the port 8080 and the API server is served on port 80.

What’s the best way to set this up? I tried to create one nginx container and deploy them on both servers to avoid conflicts. However, I think I can’t use port binding for this.
Another way is creating two nginx containers (one for web server and another for API server). But I don’t know how to use multiple nginx containers to serve two different application as one?

1) Create one docker image with nginx.
2) In this docker image create another docker container with nginx with different port.
3) In your web container(web server) use nginx reverse proxy to reverse proxy your two nginx container(api server).

In the course of our studies of God’s attitude toward the animal kingdom, we have asked the question, “What would you call a created being that God is not willing to help, protect or provide for?” The answer, of course, is that there is no name for it. Some persons would say that it is the necessary result of free will, a “free will animal.” But, God’s character is far from that. No, God is not the maker of such a being. It is the creature

Type the serial number of the project.

After running the program, the serial number and the activation code (key) will appear.

Click on the „Run AutoCAD Keygen“ button and the key will be generated.

Click on „Save“ button to save the key in the registry.

Download the software and use the key you just generated.

I’ve made a web service that can generate a serial number for you. You just need to input your serial number.
This is a similar service to what you’re looking for, the main difference is that this service uses the autocad serial number to generate the key while the other does not.

Star Trek: The Next Generation now belongs to a different franchise, and it’s all because some nerds convinced Paramount Pictures to change the official name of the franchise to „The Next Generation,“ and then got the first movie made as „Star Trek: The Motion Picture“ before anyone noticed.

It all started with a fan film director named Peter Platzer. While working on his own fan movie in 1987, the director realized that the franchise’s title had been officially changed from „Star Trek,“ and now referred to as „The Next Generation.“ So instead of making his movie under the old title, Platzer decided to do it under the new title „Star Trek: The Next Generation.“ However, because he couldn’t find a distributor to distribute the film, he instead gave it a theatrical release as „Star Trek: The Motion Picture.“

Needless to say, no one noticed the change, and the fans were satisfied. However, the irony of it all is that the new name actually didn’t help his film at all. The film barely broke even at the box office, making Platzer’s dream of making the first fan film to go platinum by reaching $1 million in revenue seem even more impossible.

Luckily for Platzer, the film got an airing on national television, and word of the change spread amongst the fan community, allowing the fans to do the right thing and ask Paramount Pictures to change the name of the franchise back. By 1989, the official name of the franchise had been changed back to „Star Trek,“ and the franchise was rebooted with the release of the second film in the series.

As for Platzer, he made several more movies under the „Star Trek“ name and made it

Markup assist

If you think about drawing a line, you think about the ends of a line. You also think about other objects around the line. So if you have a line, it’s just that end and the thing that’s around it. That’s how your mind works.

When you think about lines in AutoCAD, you think about four different things: the start, the end, the endpoint, and the connection point between them. If you think about it that way, all your lines are much shorter, cleaner, more compact.

What we’ve been working on is something we call markup assist, and it simplifies the way you think about your lines. You can start with one line, and as you go down the line, it will tell you where the start is, where the endpoint is, and where the connection point is.

We call the new feature “Markup assist”. To markup assist, go to the home tab and select markup assist from the shortcut menu.

Once you start marking up, the first thing you’ll notice is that you can drag around with the cursor, and as you drag, you’ll see a marker around the lines.

The new feature is really easy to use. You can start marking up the line with your mouse or a command, and when you’re done, you can go back and press Esc or hit spacebar or another key to release the mouse. Then, the marker tells you where the endpoint is, and then the
