XdevL is a cross-platform C++ Object and Plug-In Oriented programming framework specially designed to enable you to develop real-time applications.
This framework is based on the Open Source Ogre3D engine on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. XdevL was designed to be used as a cross-platform real-time 3D engine to replace Ogre3D, and with its plug-ins, XdevL can be used for a wide range of computer games, and it is essential for computer games that require high performance.
Use XdevL and you will never need to program directly in Ogre or OpenGL again. You can simply code your application in C++ for Windows/Linux/Mac OS X and send it to your XdevL runtime for real-time 3D development. Once your application is finished, you can export it as a static or dynamic XdevL binary or package it into a dynamic.xdevl exe/dynamic.xdevl lib.
At the moment XdevL includes a support for GFX plugins, XdevL Plug-ins, XdevL APIs and XdevL console, but the framework allows to develop plugins and add new plug-ins to XdevL at any time.
XdevL features:
1. Highly integrated and cross platform
XdevL is a cross-platform C++ Object and Plug-In Oriented framework. It has extensive cross-platform features, such as for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, and with our GFX plugins, you can easily develop your XdevL project for them as well. You can plug-in any open source or commercial engine or GFX plugin into your XdevL project, and you will have the same real-time 3D experience as when you used to program directly on these engines.
2. Extremely extendable
XdevL is tightly integrated with the Open Source Ogre3D engine, so you can develop your application based on it. XdevL is extremely extendable. XdevL Plug-Ins can be added to it at any time, to add another feature that no other engine could.
3. Object oriented, code once, run anywhere
XdevL is designed with OOP and cross-platform concepts. With our Plug-In API you can write your code in C++ with its template classes and support for #pragma, then send it to your XdevL runtime which will automatically compile the code and

What’s New In XdevL?
PHPObjects are a high performance, flexible and object-oriented procedural
scripting language.
Designed to take full advantage of the features of the PHP language, its
advanced features and object-oriented programming techniques, PHPObjects
allows you to build dynamic web applications that can use complex
logic without requiring the use of procedural languages and statements.
Major features are Object-oriented programming, Data-driven programming,
Class-based program, Deploying applications online, integrating
traditional applications, integration with web standards and platforms,
web2.0/2.1 Ajax, etc.
Object-oriented programming is a programming paradigm that uses objects. These objects are collections of data and methods. In other words, they are information containers that group data together to represent an abstraction.
PHPObjects runs on most computers. It does not depend on the operating system, or
hardware (RAM/CPU/etc) or other software components.
Data-driven Programming is a form of programming to work with structured data. Programming is about hiding the implementation details to work with the interface of the system.
This is different from procedural programming where the flow of program is predefined and executed based on certain input values.
Class-based program combines object-oriented and procedural programming. Classes are object and can be combined to create objects.
Integrate traditional applications is using PHPObjects can bridge traditional
applications with web development world.
Deploying applications online is creating web applications that runs
remotely. The server part runs on another computer, and the client part
runs on the user’s computer.
My husband told me that because we had the kitchen remodeled, he should have paid twice as much as he did. When I asked him why, he said because everything we did was custom, so it was twice as hard to do. Just because his remodel company was used to small jobs and wasn’t used to kitchen remodels. I got him to agree that the actual work was twice as hard and figured we paid what we did because it was custom, not because it was twice the work. Can you tell I was annoyed?
